- Perform hands-on science experiments

- Learn strategies used by successful college students

The program consists of an intense, informative and exciting two week session, Monday-Thursday, July 11-14 & 18-21 from 9:00-4:00 on the Ursuline campus. Participants can earn college credit.

Brown bag lunch provided each day

Program costs, including all materials and tuition, are provided by Ursuline College, AAUW, Catholic Campaign for Human Development and other generous community partners.

This program focuses on students who are the first in their family to attend college and on populations who are underrepresented in the sciences.

To apply for the program, students must have a GPA of 3.0 or above and/or 'C' minimum grade in Science, Math or English and complete the online application. A $25 deposit payable upon acceptance will be returned to students who attend all eight days of the program.

Review of the applications will begin April 1, 2011 and continue until openings are filled or June 17, whichever occurs first. Dress code requirements will be included in the acceptance package.
