Learn more about a career in counseling and art therapy and the ways in which Ursuline's Master of Arts in Counseling and Art Therapy program will help you achieve your personal and professional goal of helping and healing others through creativity and the arts.  Gail Rule-Hoffman, Director, provides an in-depth presentation for anyone considering a career in Counseling and Art Therapy.  These hour-long sessions are a must for anyone interested in the field.  Those who attend the session will have the $25 application fee waived. Register at www.ursuline.edu/visit, choose "Graduate Student" option or contact 440-646-8119 / Melissa.Rickey@ ursuline.edu.  


Support Ohio Art Therapy Licensure--
Please contact your state representatives (especially those serving on Health Committee) and ask them to support State House Bill 557 (HB 557) which would grant licenses to practice art therapy through the State Medical Board, http://www.ohiohouse.gov/committee/heath.

New publication written by Gretchen Miller, MA, ATR-BC, CTC-S entitled, The Art Therapist's Guide to Social Media Connection, Community, and Creativity, published by Routledge.  Offers the art therapy community a guide that addresses content related to social media use, its growing influence, and the impact social networking has on the profession and work of art therapists. 



Volunteer Opportunity - Artistic Outreach Opportunity for Artists Over Age of 50
An artistic outreach opportunity. The encore art program focuses on bringing arts to seniors living in Cleveland. Looking for artists over the age 50 to participate in a volunteer capacity. This a volunteer program, there is limited reimbursement for local travel and supplies.
