New Praxis II Testing for Special Education, Reading and Educational Administration

New Praxis II tests have been established by the State of Ohio for Special Education, Reading and Educational Administration as of September 1, 2010. The new tests apply to these three areas only.

For those who are scheduled to take Praxis II testing as of September 1, 2010: you must have scheduled for the new tests. Anyone scheduled to take the Praxis II test in Reading, Special Education or Educational Administration should confirm that the correct test has been scheduled as the old tests will not be valid, i.e., cannot be used for State of Ohio licensure.

For those who took the old Praxis tests prior to September 1, 2010: Ursuline College will accept those scores for three years, i.e., until September 1, 2013. After September 1, 2013, you will have to re-take the Praxis exam to apply for licensure.
