Nursing Admissions Requirements Checklist All Nursing (BSN) Applicants must submit:
Completed application form with $25 application fee (waived if you apply online)
The additional items listed below according to specific category:
Traditional High School Students:
Official high school transcripts
Original transcript of AP grades if taken
ACT or SAT score
Individuals with College Credit:
Official transcripts from all previously attended institutions, including High School or GED if you are transferring fewer than 45 quarter hours or 30 semesters hours
A letter of recommendation from a counselor, instructor, or employer
A Letter of Good Standing from the Dean or Program Director of your previous nursing program
Second Degree Accelerated BSN Program
Online application found on the Undergraduate Admission page (rolling admission - no deadline)
Transcripts from all institutions attended
Official transcript that lists the first bachelor degree conferral date.
Alternately, if not yet graduated, a letter from a counselor or administrator stating that all requirements will be met by the time the cohort starts. An offical transcript with degree conferral must be submitted before starting the ABSN program
At least 8 credits of current science (within 7 years) must be reflected on the transcripts
At least one letter of recommendation from an instructor or employer
after acceptance to Ursuline College:
Accelerated BSN Student Data Form
Completion of any remaining prerequisite courses with a grade of C or better
All official transcripts must be received before the cohort start date
A deposit to secure a spot in the program due to limited available seating
