Graduate Nursing Program

The demand for Advanced Practice Nurses is ever-increasing in the Cleveland Area. Advanced Practice Nurses will play a critical role in healthcare reform. Ursuline College’s Graduate Nursing Program provide students the opportunity to become leaders in the nursing field. In fact, CNBC ranks the nurse practitioner as number 1 of fastest-growing careers for college graduates based on data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. Job growth of 35% is expected for NPs and other advanced practice registered nurses from 2014 to 2024.

The Breen School of Nursing at Ursuline College offers a Master of Science degree in Nursing. The program’s mission is to transform the health of the community through reflection and healing interaction with individuals and organizations. Nurses may select from the following areas of study:

  • Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner
  • Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program (NEW for fall 2016!)
  • Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist
  • Palliative Care Subspecialty Concentration
