How does it feel to be a healthcare provider, on the other side of the bed?  In her talk, Making the Heart W(hole) Again, Dr. Janet Baker shares her unique story of finding a congenital cardiac defect later in life as well as personal insights and experiences as a healthcare provider from a patient perspective.

What do you do after you’ve experienced sudden cardiac death?  Mrs. Christi Nelson, survivor of sudden cardiac death advocates for best practices in basic cardiac life support throughout the community and has accomplished amazing things by sharing her journey through support groups and community collaboration.

The Student Nurses of Ursuline College (SNUC) is honored to have these two amazing speakers during a special fund-raising event, supporting women’s cardiovascular health through the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Campaign.
