Am I eligible for summer aid?
Eligibility for summer aid is determined by enrollment, how much remaining aid you have from the current award year, or how much you want to use from the upcoming year's aid. Students my use remaining Federal Pell Grant, state aid and/or Federal Stafford Loan eligibility for summer study. Once enrollment for summer is decided, aid eligibility can be determined.


Can my scholarships affect my eligibility for financial aid?
In some cases, yes. As we receive additional scholarships, your eligibility for financial aid may decrease. By law, financial aid cannot exceed a student's cost of education. Cost of education does include an estimate for books, living expenses, and transportation and miscellaneous expenses. It is your responsibly to report all scholarship/fellowship/sponsorship assistance to the Financial Aid Office. We encourage you to report any additional assistance as soon as possible to avoid having to repay financial assistance at a later date.


I am transferring to Ursuline College. Will my aid transfer from my previous institution?
No, financial aid cannot be transferred from one post-secondary institution to another. You will need to request your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) information be sent to the school you will be attending. You can request this by contacting the federal processor by phone at 1 800 433 3243 or by submitting your request electronically at www.fafsa.ed.gov.


Why was my application selected for verification?
All FAFSA applications are subject to being selected for verification. The federal processor establishes specific edits each year that could trigger selection for verification. We are not informed of the details of the edits. If your application is selected for verification, you will receive notification regarding how to submit the required documentation.
