About me: I completed my Master's degree while working two part-time jobs and attending class full-time. I understand the dedication and perseverance it takes to balance life and school. Although it was not easy, earning my Master's degree was self-rewarding. I learned to be a life-long learner and to bring my education and experiences to the classroom and workplace. I look forward to working with you throughout the application process!

Education:
-
Current Ursuline UCAP student; Certificate of Proficiency, Health Care Administration
- Master of Business Administration, 2008, Cleveland State University
- Bachelor of Business Administration, 2007, Cleveland State University
- Bachelor of Science, 2005, Ohio University

What I like best about Ursuline College: Everyone at Ursuline is so friendly and helpful! You can't walk down the hall without someone saying 'hi' to you. Even though Ursuline's campus is small and intimate, there is always something going on. From a fashion show and an athletic game, to a bake sale and blood drive, there is always a fun activity to attend.

About me: I have always been interested in the development of my community, and engaging community partnerships. I have worked in the field of education for eight years in many different areas, including secondary teaching, student skills development, leadership counseling, and educational consulting and tutoring. I love the city of Cleveland, and am truly invested in initiatives to make our city and our region stronger, and more equitable. It is my hope to bring a sense of community into my work at Ursuline College, and foster a strong collaboration with potential graduate students.

Education:
- Current Doctoral Student, Educational Leadership, New England College
- Master of Education, Professional Teaching, 2011, John Carroll University
- Urban Teaching Fellowship, ELA Licensure, 2010, Northeastern University
- Bachelor Of Arts, Communication Management/English, 2008, John Carroll University

What I like best about Ursuline College: Ursuline is such a great institution. In many ways, it is a strong asset in our community. Among the most diverse college communities in Ohio, it offers an environment for students’ that truly promotes collaboration, spirit, and engagement; all while keeping perspective of a larger world. The warmth and student centered perspective is refreshing for those students looking for individual attention. I am excited to be a part of an organization that fosters such approaches to education.

Megan Schauer, Graduate Admission Student Worker

About me: I am a Sophomore at Ursuline and my major is Nursing. I graduated from Eastlake North High School and plan on becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. I also work at the Willoughby Dairy Queen, so school and work are my main activities. When I can catch a break, I LOVE to shop and do pretty much anything that is fun!

What I like best about Ursuline College: While I am here I actually feel like a real person and I always feel welcome, never as an outcast or just a number. Everyone at Ursuline is so nice and friendly and are always willing to help.
