High School Students


This page is for you if you are currently a high school student and have completed at least 17 academic units (the equivalent of three years of full time coursework).

Specific requirements for High School Students in addition to those listed here:

  • official high school transcripts
  • official results of the SAT or ACT Assessment
  • applicants who have completed college coursework (PSEO) should also include those transcripts
  • Personal interview (strongly encouraged but not required)
The degree programs at Ursuline College require solid academic preparation in high school. As an applicant, your high school transcript should show you have completed at least 17 academic courses. The following distribution of courses is highly recommended:

  • 4 years of English
  • 3 years of math
  • 3 years of science
  • 3 years of history, social studies or social sciences
  • 2 years of the same foreign language
  • 1 year of fine and/or performing arts
  • 1 year of physical education/health
Each student is strongly encouraged to have completed the following: algebra, geometry, biology with lab, chemistry with lab, a research paper and computer literacy coursework or experience.
