Arrows shoot 361 in practice round against Notre Dame
April 12, 2010
The Ursuline College golf team was scheduled to take on Notre Dame College on Monday afternoon, but won by forfiet as the Falcons had only two golfers available to compete. Senior
Ashlee King (Mentor, Ohio) paced the Arrows by shooting an 83.
Junior
Amy Harrison (University Heights, Ohio) shot an 89, senior
Anitra Brisco (Brookville, Ohio) shot a 93, and freshman
Jessica Kocab (Mentor, Ohio) rounded out the team score with a 96.
It was the first match of the year in which all four Ursuline Golfers broke 100, and only the second time the team shot under 400. In fact, their score of 361 was over 24 strokes better than their previous season best of 385, a win over John Carroll back in the fall.
Ursuline College will next compete at the American Mideast Conference Championships, which the Arrows will play host to on April 19th and 20th. The tournament will take place at Berkshire Hills Golf Course in Chesterland, Ohio.
