Arrows Swimming Topped by the University of Findlay

The Ursuline College swimming team competed against the University of Findlay on Saturday afternoon, falling 83-36. The Arrows, still trying to find their way in the inaugural season, continue to improve their individual times.
Sarah Gajewski finished second in the 50-meter freestyle, as she was out-touched at the wall by 0.01 seconds by Aly Hyde. She also took home second in the 500-meter freestlye, cutting over 22 seconds off her time from the first meet.
Holley Mangold finished third in the race, shaving over two seconds off her previous best time against Ohio Wesleyan.
The Arrows inaugural season will continue when they travel to College of Wooster on November 21, 2009. The meet is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m. Ursuline is scheduled to participate and compete in 11 different meets prior to the NAIA National Championships in March, 2010.
