Arrows Finish Fourth at John Carroll Swim Meet

The Ursuline College swim team competed against three other schools, finishing fourth in the two-day event at John Carroll University. The Arrows face John Carroll, Notre Dame College and Malone University.

Sarah Gajewski and Erin Childers recorded UC's only two top-ten finishes on Saturday, finishing ninth in both the 500-yard freestyle (6:52.32) and ninth in the 100-yard backstroke (1:23.78) respectively.

With a limited roster, the Arrows are only able to swim in so many of the individual events, making it impossible to compete for a top spot in the overall team standings. John Carroll won the overall event with 1,078 points. However, with 40 events including diving, which Ursuline does not have, the Arrows are at a disadvantage with only eight student-athletes compared to John Carroll's roster of 20.
