BEREA, Ohio - The Ursuline College Track & Field team competed at the Baldwin-Wallace College Mid-February Meet on Friday evening. The Arrows 4x400m relay team took home a first place finish, as did Jaimie Grindle in the 400m race.
As a member of the 4x400m relay team, Jaimie Grindle (Wadsworth, Ohio/Wadsworth HS) joined her sister, Annie Grindle (Wadsworth, Ohio/Wadsworth), Tanisha Williams (Springfield, Ohio/Troy HS), and Amber Bourcier (Middleburg, Ohio/Midpark HS) to finish in the top spot with a time of 4:16.07. Grindle also was able to take home a first place finish individually in the 400m race, running the race in 1:01.47.
In the same 400m race that Grindle won, her 4x400m relay teammates, Williams and Bourcier, finished third and fourth in the race respectively. Other top performers included Jessica Dingman (Chardon, Ohio/Berkshire HS), who finished second in the 3000 meter run with a time of 10:54.04. Annie Grindle finished fourth in the 55m hurdles with a time of 8.93 seconds and Lauren Hollis (Mt. Vernon, Ohio/Mt. Vernon) claimed the third spot in the high jump with a height of 1.52 meters (4' 11.75").
