Arrows finish second at the Oberlin Invitational

OBERLIN, Ohio - The Ursuline College Track & Field team finished in second place out of five teams at the Oberlin Invitational on Friday night. Despite not winning any events, the Arrows did total eight different second place finishes in various events.
Among the top finishers,
Lauren Hollis (Mt. Vernon, Ohio/Mt. Vernon HS) finished second in the 55-meter dash (7.69 seconds).
Kaelyn Hrabak (Berlin Center, Ohio/Western Reserve HS) finished second in the 200-meter dash (28.17 seconds).
Jaimie Grindle (Wadsworth, Ohio/Wadsworth HS) recorded two different second place finishes, the first coming in the high jump with a height of 1.50 meters (4'11''). Her sister,
Annie Grindle (Wadsworth, Ohio/Wadsworth) also had two second place finishes. First in the 55-meter hurdles, which she ran in 8.91 seconds, and then they teamed up with
Tanisha Williams (Springfield, Ohio/Troy HS) and
Amber Bourcier (Middleburg, Ohio/Midpark HS) in the 4x400 meter relay, running the race in 4:15.47.
Halle Barret (Solon, Ohio/Solon HS) recorded a height of 2.60 meters (just over 8'6'') in the pole vault, good for another Arrows second place finish.
Lesley Wyatt (Garrettsville, Ohio/Garfield HS) took home second in the long jump, with a distance of 4.62 meters (just over 15'1'').
Kianna Coggins (Cleveland, Ohio/Collinwood HS) placed second in the shot put with a throw of 11.7 meters.
