4x100 relay qualifies for NAIA Nationals at Mt. Union Invite

ALLIANCE, OHIO - The Ursuline College Track & Field Program competed at the Mount Union College Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The meet welcomed 10 men's teams and 11 women's track programs from every level of collegiate athletics.
The 4x100 relay team of
Tanisha Williams (Springfield, Ohio/Troy),
Lauren Hollis (Mt. Vernon, Ohio/Mt. Vernon),
Jaimie Grindle (Wadsworth, Ohio/Wadsworth), and
Annie Grindle (Wadsworth, Ohio/Wadsworth) qualified for the NAIA Outdoor National Championships with their second place finish and time of 49.26.
Erica Casto (Madison, Ohio/Madison) finished third in the 3000 Meter Steeplechase with an impressive time of 12:44.45.
Lesley Wyatt (Garrettsville, Ohio/Garfield HS) earned the team points with her fourth place finish in the triple jump, hitting a distance of 9.75 meters.
Nicole Genske (Chardon, Ohio/Chardon) also earned fourth place points in the shot put with a throw of 12.02 meters.
Along with Jessica Dingman, who qualified for Nationals last weekend, the 4x100 relay team will lead the Arrows, who will look to earn a few more qualifiers at the American Mideast Conference Championship Meet at Walsh University this coming weekend (April 16-17).
