Molly Altier Named Daktronics-NAIA Volleyball Scholar-Athlete

SIOUX CITY, Iowa - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that Ursuline College women's volleyball student-athlete, junior Molly Altier has been named a 2009 Daktronics-NAIA Women's Volleyball Scholar-Athlete.
Altier, who led the team with 635 assists this season, is the tenth volleyball player to receive this recognition. She carries a 3.95 grade point average, majoring in Nursing.
Nominated by each institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved junior academic status to qualify.
