In game one, Ursuline jumped out quickly with six runs in the first inning, two in the second, and five more in the third. Kristen Roznoski and Miranda Boggs each recorded three hits. Roznoski scored three times and stole three bases, while Boggs scored twice, drove in three, and fell just a home run short of the cycle.
Kami Weikel and Britney Mascia each had two hits, while Beachy had one one hit, but walked once and was hit by a pitch in her other two plate appearances. She scored all three times.
On the mound, Liz Maher cruised with the tremendous run support, pitching five innings, giving up three runs. She struck out four and didn't walk a batter.
In game two, Case Western jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the first on only two hits. A pair of walks by Jessica Seaman and a Ursuline error allowed Case to take the early lead.
However, Ursuline answered with two in the bottom of the first on a two-run home run to right by Beachy, her first of the season. The Spartans pushed the score to 5-3 with a run in the second, but Ursuline responded with a run in the bottom of the second and two more in the third to tie the game at 5-5.
The Arrows took the lead for good in the fifth inning on an two-out RBI-single by Melissa Ruminski, after Mascia's tripled with one out.
Roznoski, Lauren Grana, Beachy, Mascia, and Joann Schneider each had two hits.
Ciara Seymour replaced Seaman on the mound in the fourth inning and pitched the final three and two-thirds innings for her sixth win of the season.
