NORTH CANTON, OHIO - The Ursuline College Softball team (9-23) dropped both games of an American Mideast Conference doubleheader against Walsh University on Thursday afternoon. The Arrows gave up 10 runs in the fourth inning, falling 10-0 in five innings, and then fell 8-0 in game two.
Ursuline drops AMC doubleheader to Walsh

NORTH CANTON, OHIO - The Ursuline College Softball team (9-23) dropped both games of an American Mideast Conference doubleheader against Walsh University on Thursday afternoon. The Arrows gave up 10 runs in the fourth inning, falling 10-0 in five innings, and then fell 8-0 in game two.
In game one, Ursuline and Walsh battled through three and a half innings. Entering the bottom of the fourth in a 0-0 tie, Walsh plated 10 runs on eight hits and two Ursuline errors to put the game away in five innings.
Ursuline managed only one hit, coming off the bat of Kristen Roznoski in the third inning. She also recorded another stolen base.
In game two, the Arrows again managed only one hit, again coming from Roznoski. Once again she stole a base, raising her season total to 27.
Ursuline will return to action on Saturday, April 24, 2010 for Senior Day against Shawnee State. The doubleheader is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m.
