Find a Book or Media Item
All library books and media items are listed in the
catalog. The library has both print and online books. Online videos are also available. If an item says
Electronic Resource - Click to Connect, then it can be accessed by Ursuline students, faculty, and staff from any computer. You will need to enter your name and
ID number to view the material.
The catalog
does not contain online journal titles. If you know the title of a journal that you need, you may check
Journal Finder to see if we own it either in print or online. If you need to find journal articles, click
here.
You may search the library catalog by
author or
title if you are looking for a specific book or media item.
If you are looking for
material on a specific subject you can try a
keyword search. If you find an item that looks useful in the list, click on it for more information. You can then also click on the picture of the book cover (when available) to see a table of contents. There are
subject headings at the bottom of the book record that will lead you to other items on the same subject. If the item is not online, you can find it in the library. Be sure to note the location and call number of the item. Feel free to ask a staff member for help in finding the various locations.
If you need addtional material, click on the
OhioLINK icon if available. That will transfer your search to OhioLINK. Note that you can only click on the item from a list. If you click on the icon from an individual title, it will only show you the same title in OhioLINK. If there are no results and no icon, you may try another term or go directly to the
OhioLINK catalog to search for material.
If you find your item on OhioLINK, you can follow the instructions to have it sent to Ursuline's library or another library of your choice. You will need to enter your Name and
ID number to request information.
