Find a Journal Article
from the library homepage. You will see a list of article indexes and other databases. Click on the one you want. If you are not sure which one to choose, you may click on Indexes/Databases by Subject
to help you select.
Academic Search Complete
is a general database with full text articles, so it is a good place to start. Enter keywords in the first box to search for articles about your topic.
You may limit your search in several ways depending on the database. We recommend against selecting "full text only" since that will eliminate articles linked to in other databases.
When you find an article that seems useful, click the "find it" button to see if the library has the article. If we do not have it, you may request it through Article Express
If you get no hits or too few:
If you know the title of the journal you want
- Try different keywords.
- Try using fewer keywords.
- Try a different database.
you can enter it into our Journal Finder
