ACES, offered through the Office of Counseling and Career Services, is a special voluntary program intended to help students make a smooth transition from college to the workforce. The purpose of the ACES (Auxiliary Career Exploration Services) Program is designed to help students make a smooth transition into the workforce, specifically, by providing supplemental career services to students who have registered with the office of Ursuline Resources for Success in.Academics (URSA - Mullen 306). Students who are having difficulty in choosing a major and those who want to, or are in the process of changing majors, are also encouraged to use this service.
The goals of the program are to:
- Help students to develop early career awareness
- Choose a career path in line with strengths and abilities
- Plan long-term realistic educational, career, and life goals
The program offers one-on-one sessions between the Career Development Coordinator and participants. The meetings are tailored to individual student needs and concerns.
