Career Counseling

Career counseling, one of the services offered by the Office of Counseling and Career Services, may help students learn about career options that match their interests and abilities. It is a process by which the student explores interests, abilities and values as a first step to choosing and defining a career.

During their first year at Ursuline, students begin to develop insights about themselves by taking the Myers Briggs Personality Type Indicator and the Strong Interest Inventory, administered as part of the Ursuline Studies Program. They can then follow up with one-on-one meetings with the Coordinator of Career Development Programs to address issues relating to career exploration, academic majors, and other concerns.

Traditional and non-traditional students as well as those changing careers may benefit from career counseling and are encouraged to make an appointment with the Coordinator of Career Development Programs.
