Orientation

This program will serve as your overview of academics at Ursuline College. On this day, you will learn about our core curriculum, called the Ursuline Studies Program, as well as specific requirements for your major. You will meet with an academic advisor with whom you will select your classes for the fall, register for them and attend other sessions that will promote your academic success at Ursuline. You will also have the opportunity to meet some current Ursuline students and other new students. Plus you will leave the event with your Ursuline student ID so make sure you are camera ready!

Parents/Guardians are also welcome at this event! They can attend specific sessions just for them and meet Ursuline staff members who can support you as you begin your journey at Ursuline. When you submit your RSVP, please indicate if your parents/guardians will be joining you at the event.

Please note:
  • If you were informed in your admission letter that you need to take placement testing, please contact Jill Carroll at 440-449-2049 to make an appointment. This needs to be done before you can attend orientation.
  • Students who have not deposited before their Academic Orientation date will not be registered for classes until their deposit has been received.  Deposits should be mailed to Robin Smith in the Admission office or you can submit it right now at www.ursuline.edu/deposit.  Please call her at 440-646-8365 if you have questions.
  • All athletes who play volleyball, soccer, cross country, basketball and golf are required to have their physicals at 9:15 a.m. in Pilla 217 on June 11, 2015 so they may want to choose June 11th for Academic Orientation which begins at 11:00 a.m. that day.
