Students working towards a Master's Degree in Art Therapy and Counseling, Educational Administration, Education, Management, Ministry, or Nursing may borrow money for their programs through the Stafford and/or Alternative Student Loan Programs.
Students who are not degree-seeking, but who are working toward Administration or Counseling Certification, may borrow through the Alternative Student Loan Programs only. Those working towards a Master's Degree program listed above may borrow up to $18,500 per year in the Stafford Loan Program, depending on eligibility.
Students working on Certification only may borrow up to the cost of education through the Alternative Loan Programs.
Eligibility for the Alternative Loan Programs is determined by the bank through credit checks and proof of income from the applicant. Eligibility for the Stafford Loan Program is determined by completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Ursuline College Financial Aid Application. Tuition Assistance
Educational Administration and Liberal Studies students employed as teachers, school administrators and librarians receive a tuition reduction.
Ministry students receive a tuition reduction if they meet one of the following criteria: teaching in a Catholic School, working part time or full time in pastoral ministry, or having been accepted into a ministry certification program.
Work Study
Students on the graduate level are also eligible to apply for College Work Study funds.
The award is based on need and completion of the FAFSA will determine eligibility.
Students in this program work part-time on campus for minimum wage.
Scholarships
Helen Dineen Scholarship
A scholarship awarded on an annual basis to graduate students exhibiting a high level of academic scholarship, financial need and a desire to work with children.
Students must complete a FAFSA and Scholarship Application Form.
Applications are available in the School of Graduate Studies Office, and the forms are returned to that office by September 30.
Graham Hunter Foundation Endowed Scholarship
An Art Therapy and Counseling scholarship award granted to the College by Carol Kelley, class of 1989.

Kappa Gamma Pi's Cornaro Scholarship for Graduate Studies
Created in 1984, the Kappa Gamma Pi's Cornaro Scholarship is named for the noble Venetian, Elena Lucrezia Cornaro Piscopia, first woman to earn a doctoral degree.
Kappa Gamma Pi, the National Catholic College Graduate Honor Society, will award at least two scholarships, $3,000 each.
