The Master of Arts in Liberal Studies Program at Ursuline College seeks to develop critical thinking skills that prepare students for a lifetime of learning in their personal and professional lives. In this program, these skills are applied to an examination of values and their expressions in contemporary American society from interdisciplinary, historical, and cross-cultural perspectives. In examining values and their sources we seek a deeper awareness of choices made by society and ethical consequences of those choices for ourselves and the larger global arena. We seek lessons about responsible ways to promote human fulfillment in the worlds in which we live.
