In addition to convenient class times and locations,
UCAP also offers services to meet the needs of adult students.
Pre-admission counseling with professional staff
- experienced counselors are available to review transfer
credits and develop a personal degree program that is
reflective of your goals and background.
Hassle-free admissions and registration process
- on-line application and registration forms make the
process quick and easy. Students can also register for
classes via phone, fax or e-mail.
Competitive tuition with deferment options - Students
with tuition benefits from their employers may defer tuition
payment until 30 days after the end of each semester term.
Financial assistance - the Office
of Financial Aid works with UCAP students in applying
for and coordinating federal student loans and Pell grants.

Textbook mailing - the Ursuline
College Bookstore will mail textbooks directly to
your home or office.
Student advising - professional advisors are available
by phone, e-mail or appointment to assist students with
course planning, credit for life experience and meeting
graduation requirements.
Convenient office hours - the UCAP office is staffed
during days, evenings and weekends.
One-stop student services - Students can take care
of tuition payment, registration, advising, and student
services through the UCAP office, eliminating the need
to visit multiple campus offices.
New building - the UCAP office is conveniently
located in the new Bishop Anthony M. Pilla Student Learning
Center, featuring state-of-the-art classrooms, Ursuline
College Bookstore and a snack area.
Three Locations - UCAP courses can now be taken
at the main campus in Pepper Pike, at Lakeland
Community College and at Tri-C
West Campus.
Student Academic Advising - Professional academic
advisors are available by phone, e-mail or appointment
to assist students with course planning, credit for life
experience and meeting graduation requirements. Our advisors
will ensure that your degree program meets your goals
so you don't waste valuable time and money on knowledge
you've already learned.

New Student Orientation - Upon acceptance to the
UCAP program, new students are welcomed at the UCAP New
Student Orientation. This program has been especially
designed with the adult student in mind. It not only informs
adult students of pertinent information concerning academic
logistics, but also helps reduce anxieties that surface
when students re-enter college after an extended absence.
At the UCAP New Student Orientation students will have
the opportunity to: |
- Meet other new UCAP students
- Hear from the Executive Director and UCAP
staff
- Learn about financial aid, alternative credit
options, library amenities and student affairs
- Receive information and ask questions about
course registration, academic advising and UCAP
policies and procedures
- Ask questions of current UCAP students and
facilitators
- Understand what it is really like to be a
UCAP student
