How do I apply to Ursuline College?


Students can apply online by completing an application.  There is no application fee when the application is done online.

How will I know if my credits transfer to Ursuline College?


If you have previously attended a regionally accredited institution, the hours that you have taken will transfer to Ursuline, but we will not accept developmental courses (below 100 level) or courses with a grade of a “C-“or less.  When it comes to how many credits will transfer to Ursuline and count as Ursuline equivalents, if you need to know specifics before applying please contact Danielle Daltorio, Admission Counselor & Transfer Recruitment at danielle.daltorio@ursuline, 440-646-8117 (office), or 440-725-4165 (cell), but once you are admitted, you will receive an official transcript evaluation.  


What is the application deadline for Ursuline College?


Ursuline College has rolling admissions, which means once all of your required materials have been submitted; your application will be evaluated.  We admit students year-round as long as space is available.


Once I have been admitted, what’s next?


The next step is submitting a deposit, which secures your spot at Ursuline.  Students who would like to live on campus need to send in a $200 deposit and students who plan on commuting to campus need to submit a $100 deposit to the undergraduate admission office.  The refund deadline for this fee is May 1st.  Once the deposit has been received you will begin to receive information about orientation either via mail or telephone. 


Does Ursuline College offer Transfer Scholarships?


Yes!  Once we receive your transcript(s) from all institutions you have attended, and any other admission requirements, we will combine your GPA, if necessary, and then depending on what your cumulative GPA is, we will award transfer scholarships, up to $10,000! 


How do I register for classes once I have been admitted to Ursuline College?


Once you have been admitted, you will attend orientation and that is when you will register for classes.  You can check out the upcoming class schedules on-line on the Registrars’ page.  


How do I schedule a campus visit? 


Visiting campus gives you an opportunity to see the campus, meet your admission counselor, speak with a financial aid representative, as well as tour campus and meet a faculty member who teaches in the area you plan on studying.  If you are interested in visiting campus can either schedule on-line or you can contact the Campus Visit Coordinator at 440-684-6047.


What undergraduate academic programs does Ursuline College offer? 


Ursuline offers 30 undergraduate academic programs, as well as programs within Ursuline College Accelerated Programs (UCAP), which is a degree completion program offering courses on the week nights and Saturdays.  


Does Ursuline offer any bridge programs from undergraduate to graduate?


Ursuline College offers bridge programs that will have you completing graduate courses while you are still an undergraduate student. Bridge programs, within Graduate School, are a great way to save money and time, as well as getting you out into your field of study quickly.

You can check on the status of your application by calling your Admission Counselor, if you do not know who your admission counselor is, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admission at 440-449-4200.


Are there any events on campus for transfer students?


Yes!  At Ursuline College, you are not a number! This is why we host Not a Number Night, an event that offers you the personalized attention you deserve during your college search. Not a Number Night offers transfer and non-traditional students the opportunity to apply online, have transcripts evaluated, learn about academic scholarships/financial aid options, and tour the campus. A light supper and child care will be provided.
