Finishing in 2nd place at the AMC Preview Meet II, Ursuline College Cross Country placed their first trophy in school history in the trophy case. Jessica Dingman (Berkshire H.S.) set the pace for the Arrows in 20:33, followed closely by fellow freshmen teammates Amber Chase (20:43), Erin Childers (21:06), Erica Casto (21:26), and Cayla Huggins who is coming off injury (22:16).
After the race Coach Badway said, "We are just starting to get ready for the conference meet. The ladies ran a very strong race, but still have a lot more left in their legs. We are looking to turn a few heads come time for the conference meet."
The Arrows finished an average of 46 seconds faster than their first time on this course back in September.
The Arrows Cross Country Team will be heading to Walsh University for the AMC/Region IX Cross Country meet on November 3rd.
