Ursuline College Cross Country opened their season this weekend at the 7th annual Bill Sudeck Classic. Leading the way for the Arrows were four freshmen: Amber Chase (Holy Name H.S.), Erica Casto (Madison H.S.), Erin Childers (Cuyahoga Falls H.S.) and Jessica Dingman (Berkshire H.S.).
The cross country team used this race as a workout to get back into racing. The Lady Arrows ran a hard first and last mile, while easing off a little during the 2nd mile. Coach Badway said, "We got the results we were looking for for the first race of the year, using the race as more of a workout. We are looking forward to next week, and putting together our first full race of the season."
The Ursuline College Arrows Cross Country Team will be competing next at Walsh University on September 8th at 10:00am.
