In a race that started in monsoon-like conditions, Ursuline College Cross Country had 5 freshmen as their scorers. The arrows were led by Amber Chase who ran 21:04 over the Walsh University 5k course. The Cross Country team had 3 other members who broke 22 minutes in wet, muddy conditions: Jessica Dingman (21:24), Erica Casto (21:46), Erin Childers (21:48).
After the race Coach Badway said, "The ladies all ran very well for the conditions. They ran a hard first mile and did everything they had to do to maintain their positions throughout the race. I could not have asked for more given the conditions they had to run in."
