Arrows Golf shoots 361 in unofficial match against Notre Dame

The Ursuline College golf team was scheduled to face Notre Dame College on Monday, but the Falcons had only two golfers. The two teams played a scrimmage round as the Arrows four players combined to shot 361, their lowest score of the season.

Ursuline Golf against John Carroll has been postponed

The Ursuline College golf team has postponed its match against John Carroll University scheduled for Noon on Friday due to expected cold weather and possible snow flurries. A make-up date is being decided upon and will be announced in the near future.

The Ursuline College golf team has moved its match against Notre Dame College scheduled for Monday, March 29, 2010. The Arrows have rescheduled the match for April 12, 2010.

Ursuline Golf Schedule Changes Announced

The Ursuline College golf team has announced that its match against Lake Erie College, schedule for Friday, October 16, has been canceled. However, the Arrows will take on Notre Dame University on Monday, October 19, making up for a previously postponed match between the two teams.

Arrows Tops JCU By One Stroke

The Ursuline College golf team won a head-to-head match-up with John Carroll University this past weekend, winning by just one stroke short 385-386. Senior Ashlee King paced the Arrows, posting the best round of the competition.

The Ursuline College Golf team took home a third place finish over the weekend at the Hiram Invitational. The Arrows took on host Hiram College, and a pair of teams representing Dennison University.

SEASON PREVIEW:

This year's golf season is filled with expectations. Last year's team was 7-2 and finished higher in the conference championship than ever before. The team opens up this year with Pitt-Bradford on September 12th at Berkshire Golf Club to begin their Fall season. They will also compete against JCU and NDC this year all in preparation for the championship in the Spring.

The team consists of two seniors, three juniors, and two sophomores all of which made major contributions to the success of the program last year.

The team is coached by Mike McCon who has been the main reason for our continuous improvement and competitiveness.

The team has set the goal of being Conference Champions and is willing to work to make that happen.
