Catherine Rook joined Ursuline College as the head athletic trainer in the fall of 2005. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine from Mount Union College and received her Master of Science degree, with a concentration in athletic training, from Ohio University. Rook is a Certified Athletic Trainer and is licensed in the state of Ohio. She is also an American Red Cross Instructor for First Aid, CPR and AED. Her previous experience includes working as an assistant athletic trainer, from 1999-2005, at Northwood University in Midland, MI; serving as the athletic trainer for Saginaw Valley Sport and Spine in a clinic/high school outreach position; and through a graduate assistantship position at Ohio University working as the head athletic trainer for an area high school. Catherine is a native of Newfane, New York. She currently resides in Parma, Ohio with her husband Shaun.
