Head Women’s Soccer Coach Jason Kubbins announced that Little Miami High School Senior Ashley Tieman signed an NAIA letter of intent to play soccer at Ursuline College. Throughout her high school career she played as the starting goalkeeper and captain where, during her last year, her team record was 10-4-2 with eight being personal shutouts. She continued with her soccer education through indoor select soccer clubs and various keeper camps. Ashley has maintained a 5.25 GPA and is currently seventh in her class all while participating in the soccer and track programs.
“I am very excited to have signed Ashley,” said Coach Kubbins. “She has all the physical attributes you would want in a Goalkeeper. She is 6’2” and has great size for this level. The goalkeeper coach in me is excited about working with her and the potential she has.”
The daughter of Randy and Karen Tieman, she plans to major in nursing with the ultimate goal of a master’s in anesthesiology and hopes to work as an anesthetist in a children’s hospital.
