Ursuline scored first against Carlow University when Meredith Croce singled and Stephanie
Rajcan hit her in on an RBI single in the second. Carlow responded with a run of their own in
the third, two in the fifth and one in the sixth going up 4-1 before Ursuline would score
again. The Arrows rallied in the sixth inning as bases were loaded on a walk and two singles
followed by Amy DiFiore hitting a 2 RBI single. Danielle Colbath hit a single with one out
scoring another run to tie the game 4-4 in the bottom of the sixth. Carlow would not be quiet
however as Scanga hit a single with one out and was followed by Kemock’s 2 RBI homerun to gain
the lead and the win. Roland got the win, Rajcan got the loss.

Arrows fall short. Ursuline had six hits and three walks but didn’t plate any runners leaving
all nine on the bases. Carlow however, managed five hits and one walk including a homerun to
pull out the win. Carlow’s Summerhill hit a double to lead off the fourth inning and was
followed by Corradini who got on by error. Hall then hit a 2 RBI single for the first runs of
the game before Ursuline turned a double play and secured the third out. The Carlow bats stayed warm in the 5th inning as Harroff slammed a homerun over the left field fence for the third run in a 3-0 win. "We're playing well; we're just falling short of playing well enough to win. We
need to get over the top now and have some things go our way. Of course, you have to make those things happen and that's what we're going to try to do," said Coach Woodford. Roland got the
win, Gilreath took the loss.
