Ursuline College Track & Field had several athletes place well at the meet this past weekend at Mount Union College. They were led by two relay teams; the 4x400 (Williams, Goans, Kimmel, Grindle) and the 4x160 (Hrabak, Carter, Kimmel, Williams) placed 2nd and 3rd respectively. Other top finishers on the tight short track for the Arrows were:
- Jessica Dingman – 3k (19:52.17) 2nd, Mile (5:41.52) 4th
- Annie Grindle – 55H (9.07) 4th, LJ (16’6.50) 6th
- Tanisha Williams – 400 meters (63.96) 4th
- Jennette Goans – 500 meters (1:26.74) 6th
- Amber Chase – 800 Meters (2:36.77) 6th
The Arrows Placed 7th out of 11 teams in their first scored meet in school history.
Coach Badway had the following to say after the meet. "The ladies went out and ran hard in all of the races. The indoor season is progressing very well and it looks like we will be running on all gears when the outdoor season comes around.”
This Friday the Arrows Track & Field Team will be competing at Oberlin College at 6:00 PM.
