Ursuline Volleyball comes back from down two games to beat Oberlin, 3-2

The Ursuline College Volleyball team (3-2) fell behind two games to zero on the road against Oberlin College, but rebounded to win the final three games and take the road contest on Wednesday afternoon. The Arrows won 21-25, 19-25, 27-25, 25-12, 15-3.

Ursuline Volleyball goes 2-2 at Concordia Tournament to open 2010 season

The Ursuline College Volleyball team opened its 2010 regular season at the Concordia Tournament in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The Arrows dropped both matches on day one, but bounced back to win both matches on day two.

Ursuline signs Smithville Senior Alex Leister

The Ursuline College Basketball and Volleyball programs have announced the signing of Smithville High School senior, Alex Leister, who will join the Arrows in the fall of 2010. Leister will be a member of both the Basketball team and the Volleyball squad as well.

Molly Altier named Volleyball Scholar-Athlete

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that Ursuline College women's volleyball student-athlete, junior Molly Altier has been named a 2009 Daktronics-NAIA Women's Volleyball Scholar-Athlete.

Volleyball: Season Review

The Ursuline College volleyball team concluded its fall campaign at 9-27, which some would view as disappointing for a team that was 20-17 two seasons ago. However, with the turnover in experience the Arrows gained some experience for a young and inexperienced roster and showed signs of returning to a higher level of play in the near future.

Fox earns AMC Honorable Mention Team Honors

Junior Jamie Fox (Copley, Ohio), who reached 1,000 career kills and 1,500 career digs this season, was selected to the American Mideast Conference Honorable Mention Team. The honorable mention selection is the second of her career (2007 and 2009).
