September 30-October 6 marks the 30-year celebration of Banned Books Week. Stand up for your freedom to read by participating in our Read-Out on Wednesday, October 3 from 11-2 in front of the Fritzsche Center. Sign up to read aloud from a banned or challenged book, go on video to share your views on keeping controversial books alive, or just come to hear some great literature, and make your voice heard!
Contact Dr. Mimi Pipino (mpipino@ursuline.edu or 440.646.8112) for more information and to sign up to read.
This event is sponsored by the Ursuline Studies Program, the English Department, and the Ralph M. Besse Library.
