Parents and Guests

Commencement will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Wolstein Center and will start promptly at 7:00 PM. The ceremony lasts approximately two hours. Doors open to guests at 5:30 PM. Guests must enter Gate A (facing Prospect Avenue). Look for blue balloons at the guest entrance.  Only gates facing Prospect Avenue will be open that evening.

Disability Accommodations: If you have guests who need wheelchair accommodations, they will need to bring their own wheelchair. The Wolstein Center does not provide wheelchairs. Open wheelchair seating is available at the top of each section. If you have guests who have difficulty with stairs, the top row in every section will not require using any steps.  Seating is first come, first served; however, there is usually ample handicap seating.

Children: We recommend that small children not attend the ceremony. Two hours is a long time for any child to be expected to sit through a formal ceremony. If you do choose to bring children, any child over the age of 1 will need a ticket. Please note that disruptive children will be asked to leave with a guardian during the ceremony.

Photography: Professional photographers have been employed to photograph each graduate receiving a diploma. Families will later have the opportunity to purchase these photos.

Courtesy: We request that guests silence all cell phones and/or pagers prior to the start of the ceremony. Individual recognition is very important to each graduate as well as their family and friends. As a courtesy to everyone attending the ceremony, loud and disruptive behavior by members of the audience will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the ceremony. We ask that you be considerate of ALL of our graduates and hold any applause or cheering until the last person graduates.
