Location: Wasmer Gallery

Ursuline College Hosts the One Department, Many Voices II: Art Department Faculty Exhibition, February 8th – April 5th

The Florence O’Donnell Wasmer Gallery presents an exhibition of current work by the faculty of the Ursuline College Art Department, who not only teach but actively pursue their own art and have exhibited nationally and internationally. This dynamic group exhibition represents the breadth and scope of contemporary art practice and highlights the diverse skills of the art faculty members. One Department, Many Voices II: Art Department Faculty Exhibition will be on view February 8th through April 5th.

Exhibitors
Hadley Conner (photography), Pat Fallon (paintings), Mary Green (printmaking), Kellie Mayle (metals), Sr. Rosaria Perna (digital art and mixed media), Sr. Diane Therese Pinchot (sculpture). In addition, the faculty members invited Anna Arnold, gallery director, to exhibit paintings, masks and jewelry.

Sr. Diane Therese Pinchot, professor and art department chair says, “As the Art Faculty begin to gather their prints, paintings, metal and ceramic installations, graphic and digital art together for the art faculty show, the commonality we all share, is a desire to make a space to tell our stories. We each have heart-felt passion around these stories. Within the diversity of the group showing, we each will evoke questions from the viewer, letting them know this is a safe space to ask the questions and resist the silence of complacency.”

Deneen Nash, gallery assistant and Ursuline alumnae will also showcase drawings and prints in the Student Gallery.
