“Managing Opioid Turbulence: A Community Conversation on the Opioid Crisis”

Are you experiencing the turbulence caused by opioid addiction in your family, workplace, school or community? Consider joining uspicture of john barnes for “Managing Opioid Turbulence: A Community Conversation on the Opioid Crisis” on Monday, Jan. 22, from 6:30-8pm in Daley Hall.

State Representative John E. Barnes, Jr. (District 12) is convening this forum to provide education, support and have a conversation about action to curtail the opioid crisis in our families, workplaces and communities. Learn about opioid addiction, the crisis, treatment options and support that is available. Rep. Barnes also invites you to come prepared to share your own ideas about how together we can manage the turbulence created by the opioid crisis.

The evening will include a background presentation on the opioid crisis; panel discussion with experts and time for audience questions; small-group discussions to help draw out ideas that could save lives; a resource fair; refreshments.
