The Biology Department invites applications for several adjunct teaching positions for lecture
and lab in the area of Clinical Microbiology.
Qualifications:
- Graduate Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in biomedical discipline related to position of interest
- Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level in area of interest
- Good communication skills
- Commitment to teaching in an academically challenging and value-based environment at a small liberal arts college; previous experience in a multicultural environment
- Available to teach both a class and prescribed laboratory curriculum in Clinical Microbiology August 20 to December 15, 2008 either (1) between the hours of 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM Tuesdays & Thursdays OR (2) Tuesdays 5:30 PM -7:00 PM and Thursdays 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM.
