Introduction

"In the history of Ursuline College, many women have graced its halls, leaving behind their thumbprints on the soul of the institution.  Since the founding of the college in 1871, the world has seen a great deal of change; an industrial revolution, two world wars, a cold war and the emergence of the United States as a superpower. "

"The tradition of publishing student’s works goes back to 1938, even though the magazine has gone through several name changes.  However, the concept behind the magazine remained the same: A community for students to submit their poetry, stories, plays, and other writings for people to enjoy.  Since submissions come from students’ thoughts and feelings, one can grasp how the minds of students were set and changed as time went on."

~ Amanda Horan, Chris Petruccio, and Lindsay Price
