Linedrives and Lipstick: The Untold Story of Women's Baseball

Ursuline Presents Linedrives and Lipstick: The Untold Story of Women in Baseball
An Art Exhibit, Scholarship Gala and Documentary Screening Event

In contrast to the depiction of women in baseball as a short-lived phenomenon of the 1940s, Americas national pastime has included women players from baseballs beginning in the 1860s. Their impact on the game and American society is brought clearly to light in Linedrives and Lipstick: The Untold Story of Womens Baseball, an exhibition hosted by Ursuline College and the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) with presenting sponsor, The Cleveland Indians. Other sponsors include Mrs. John C. Wasmer Jr., The Lake County Captains and Key Bank.
