Ursuline College Receives Million Dollar Donation
John and Mary Jo Boler of Chicago, Illinois recently contributed $1 million to Ursuline College to enhance the quality of nursing, nursing education and health care in northeast Ohio and beyond. Their gift will be used to help construct the Center for the Creative and Healing Arts and Sciences which will provide state-of-the-art teaching and learning space for nursing and art therapy among other outstanding programs at Ursuline College.
Sister Diana Stano, OSU, president of Ursuline College, stated that “John and Mary Jo Boler share the values, voice and vision of Ursuline and their magnificent gift will impact the College’s Breen School of Nursing and ultimately the quality of healthcare in our area and region. We are grateful to the Bolers for making a difference for our students. They are truly among our treasured friends and generous benefactors.”
