A New Tree is Planted
June 27, 2012
What would a new graduate of Ursuline College want for a gift to recognize her significant accomplishment? In Jessica Rockwell’s ’12 case, she received a beautiful flowering tree planted near the lake on Ursuline’s campus. Her grandparents, Bob and Marge Manchick, contributed a gift to Ursuline in honor of Jessica’s graduation. Similarly, when Jessica’s mom, Robyn Manchick, graduated from Ursuline in 2010, Bob and Marge donated a bench which is now shaded by Jessica’s tree. Both mom and daughter majored in Social Work and have nothing but wonderful things to say about the program. Jessica will pursue further education in the fall as she will begin her master’s degree in social work at Case Western Reserve University. The Manchick Family has been very supportive of Ursuline and the College is grateful for their generosity.
