Click here to learn more about the Career Mentoring Network.
The Career Mentoring Network is designed to help Ursuline students to develop professional skills and to explore career opportunities related to their personal and professional objectives. It offers them a unique opportunity to interact with professionals within their field of study or in a closely related area. This program matches student protégés with volunteer mentors from businesses and organizations within both the private and non-profit sectors in the Greater Cleveland area. It is intended to help students in the exploration of career options. It is not an internship, nor is it intended as a method to secure a job at the mentor's place of employment.
Sophomores, juniors, and seniors, with a desire to explore a career path and who are willing to commit time and energy to this program are eligible - a 3.0 or better GPA is preferable. Students may apply by meeting with the Coordinator and completing the application process. Participation in the program is not defined by a specific number of semesters and, depending upon the mentor/protégé relationship, may continue throughout the summer and beyond.
The selection process is competitive, and the Coordinator may limit the number of protégés accepted at any given time.
