Gerri Sullivan, MBA, Director of Counseling and Career Services
Welcome to the Office of Counseling and Career Services! The staff and I are here to work with
you from the moment you step onto campus until you receive your degree, and beyond, if need be, as our services are also available to alumnae. We are pleased to provide you with the tools you need to succeed in your job search!
As Director of the Office, my focus is on working with graduating seniors to make sure that they capture the leadership, internship, service-learning and career-related experiences that employers seek from new graduates into a strong resume and cover letter. I also serve as the College's representative in several collaborative efforts whose aim it is to provide students with increased opportunities to meet and network with employers, including ClevelandIntern.net; NOTED (Northeast Ohio Teacher Education Day); and the planning committee of OFIC CareerFest. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me at gsullivan@ursuline.edu or contact me by telephone at (440) 646-8324.

Maureen Klein, Coordinator of Career Development Programs
As the Career Counselor, I create a partnership with first-year students to provide them with
the guidance they need to choose the right career path.
This occurs through the administration and in-depth interpretation of career inventories such
as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Strong-Campbell Interest Inventory.
The results help me to assist our students in choosing a major course of study that will allow
them to clarify and reach their long-term employment goals.
The correct choice of a major increases the likelihood that the student will stay in college
and "succeed in life."
As Coordinator of the "Students as Leaders" Mentoring Program, I partner junior and senior
level students with community leaders in their field of study.
Please refer to the web page link for more information on this program.
I welcome the chance to meet with you personally. To get started on the road to your career
success, contact me at 440-646-8379 or e-mail
mklein@ursuline.edu.
I look forward to meeting and working with you.
Meegan Cox, Coordinator of Experiential Education
My job is to help you, the students of Ursuline, find an internship or co-operative education
experience that is suited to your career goals and interests.
We will work together to fine tune your resume, cover letter, and interview skills.
Internships are available for students of all majors, some are paid and some are not but all
will give you valuable experience in your field.
Co-operative education positions are always paid but are only available for students in
specific majors.
