Room selection and lottery - Wednesday, March 15, Grace Formal
This page will explain room selection and the room lottery process. Remember it is your responsibility to meet the deadlines and make the appropriate housing arrangements. Please note that students who attended all the FYE sessions this fall will be granted room selection seniority over students who did not attend. Attending FYE does not give sophomores preference for living in the new hall. Only students with junior/senior academic status are permitted to live in the new hall.

You will be asked to sign a housing contract (The contract is for the entire academic year: Fall Semester 2006 AND Spring semester 2007).
Eligibility Requirements:
- First priority is given to students who have "residence hall seniority status" which is determined by the number of semesters a student has lived in the residence halls.
- Second priority are students who have junior or senior academic status (attended Ursuline a minimum of 4 semesters) but have not lived in the residence halls, or lived in the residence halls for a brief period of time. For example, a student with junior academic status who lived in the halls 2 semesters will have priority over a senior who has never lived in the halls).
Singles
Those students who have lived in the halls six or more semesters will be permitted to keep their singles.
Students who have lived in the halls 4or 5 semesters will be eligible to reserve singles, if they currently have one.
However, if the halls fill and we need space, these students may be placed with a roommate.
This should be determined by the end of July and you will be notified at home.
