Amber L. Banks
Amber is a Fashion Design Major who will also minor in Fashion Merchandising. Amber plans to
work for a corporate office as a buyer for a company, so that she can work on kick starting her own company to utilize her designs. She enjoys hanging out with her friends at school and home
and is a huge movie buff. She also loves shopping, traveling and helping out others. On campus
Amber has involved herself in AIMS peer mentoring group as a Mentor for minority students.
Tish King
Tish is a nursing major, interested in becoming a register nurse in labor and delivery.
She enjoys sports, making candles, and music. On campus she involved in the following
activities: Orientation Arrow, SNUC, and Peer Mediation. Her favorite thing is to watch
movies and play sports.
Joylette Daniels
Joylette is a double majoring in psychology and political science major. She enjoys listening
to music, writing, and meeting new people. She loves watching sports ands is also member of the basketball team.
Kristen M. Mayer
Kristen is interested in becoming a Pediatric Oncology Nurse Practitioner. She is a sophomore
nursing major. On campus she is the secretary of student government and programming board. She
loves to enjoy a good movie, and collects DVDs. She enjoys being creative and artistic with
materials that are around her. She loves to paint and sketch. She has a love for all music but
her favorite bands are Three Days Grace and Hinder. Her favorite movie of all time is Gladiator and is closely followed by Stigmata.
Samantha Scholz
Sam is a junior nursing major who is hoping to practice in the geriatric or cardiac field.
Aside from nursing and her RA position, Samantha is the captain of the varsity golf team and
enjoys swimming, watching movies, and hanging out with her friends and family. On campus she
is also spends her time working on the Orientation Team as and orientation arrow and helps to
lead the Emerging Leaders Retreat. Samantha also loves to learn about different cultures, read Harry Potter, and watch NASCAR.
Lydell Perry
Lydell is a senior nursing student. Understanding the impact that campus living has on shaping
the college experience of a resident student she wanted to be a part of the phenomenon. Lydell
has enjoyed involvement as an Orientation Team Advisor, Emerging Leaders Team Leader, Founders
Day Executive Board, Director of the New Covenant Gospel Choir, A.I.M.S. Peer Mentor and Head
Resident Assistant. She feels the skills she has gained in these roles such as team work,
community building, and conflict resolution will be used in every aspect of her life.
