M.A.P.S. the Peer Mentoring Program, sponsored by the Student Success Center, is a mentoring opportunity open to all students.
M.A.P.S. provides support, develops social skills and leadership opportunities to new and transfer students.
Participation in M.A.P.S. is completely voluntary. Protégés are first year students looking for some guidance and help getting acclimated to Ursuline College. To become a mentor, you must complete a program application and meet a few requirements:
- You have to be at least a sophomore, with a GPA of 2.5 or higher, fill out an application, get a letter of recommendation and be interviewed. After joining the program, each mentor will be matched with the protégé who best fits their needs and interests.
To join the program, please contact Sr. Virginia DeVinne at vdevinne@ursuline.edu or stop in the Student Success Center in Mullen 211.
